FULLERTON, Calif. - UC San Diego finished competition at the Ben Brown Invitational on Saturday, March 9 with four top 10 all-time performances.

ON THE WOMEN'S SIDE
Two personal bests were set in the 100 hurdles.
Kate MacNaughton ran a 14.51 time to take eleventh and post a new personal best. Joining her teammate,
Amari Jenkins also ran a personal best time at 14.57 to finish thirteenth.

In the 400m dash, the Tritons went one-two when
Lauren Schiele won the event and
Maxine Schultz finished second. The teammates were separate by 0.04 seconds. Schiele's time of 55.64 places her in the No. 4 spot on the top 10 all-time list and is a personal best for the sophomore.

Idara Ibekwe finished 13th in the 100m with a time of 12.19. The Tritons posted two top 10 finishes in the 400H with
Amari Jenkins finishing third with a time of 1:03.02, and
Gloria Kalt posted a time of 1:05.67 to take seventh place. Representing in the 200m, Schultz earned the top finish for the women with an eleventh-place finish.Â

Out in the field, MacNaughton took second in high jump with a height of 1.66m. Alex Farfaras represented in discus and was the top Triton-finisher placing twenty-first. Posting a top 10 all-time mark,
Tamara Aimufia took second in the triple jump with a distance of 12.10m moving her to No. 5 all-time. Her teammates
Tia Stapleton and
Julia Di Silvestri both posted personal best marks. Stapleton took fourth with a distance of 11.85m, and Di Silvestri finished seventh with a distance of 11.66m. Joining her teammates,
Chidiebere Agunanne finished fifth jumping 11.81m.

ON THE MEN'S SIDE
Opening the day with a top five finish,
Brandon Orlow,
Anthony Flowers,
Jett Collins, and
Nolan Crespo finished fifth in the men's 4x100 with a time of 41.16. The time places them in the No. 4 spot on the all-time list.

 Running a 49.90 400m dash,
Jake Heinlein led the 400m for the Tritons finishing in eleventh. In the 200m dash,
Anthony Flowers was fifth with a time of 21.36.

Out in the field,
Matthew Amankonah was the top finisher, placing 8th in the discus with a distance of 52.33m. It was a personal best and it moved the senior to No. 3 all-time in program history. Amankonah was the top finisher in shot put as well with a distance of 16.73m to take fourth.
Nathan Tripp joined his teammate in shot put to take fifth with a distance of 16.05m.
