ST. GEORGE, Utah – UC San Diego's swim teams wrapped the MPSF Conference Championships with the women finishing third at 585 points and the men finishing fifth with 444 points.
Over the course of the event, the women's side won 13 different championships.
ON THE WOMEN'S SIDE
Juli Arzave opened up the final night with a championship win in the 1650 free. Finishing a full nine seconds ahead of second place.
Sophia Bell added points with a third-place finish.
In the 200 back,
Eva Boehlke and
Teagan Monroe combined for 27 points with sixth and seventh place finishes.
Iris Bayan took 11th behind her teammates.
Miranda Renner earned another championship for the gold and blue with a 49.41 swim in the 100 free to break the program record.
Sophie Francis swam a time of 52.17 to finish 21st.
Chloe Braun,
Jana Jocic, and
Sabrina Bennani swam the 200 breast to take 10th, 11th, and 22nd respectively.
Asia Kozan won the final championship for the Tritons in the 200 fly. The freshman swam a 1:57.72 for a NCAA B cut swim.
Sanne Dequine scored in the event as well taking fifth place with a time of 2:03.05.
Minh-Nha Kawamura added her support finishing 12th and
Alisa Rangel finished 16th.
ON THE MEN'S SIDE
Devin Esser opened up the scoring for the men in the 1650 free with a sixth-place finish at 15:46.28.
Jackson Bernstein and
Skyler Kao added their support finishing in 12th and 15th.
Similar to the women's side,
Luigi Franco and
Robby Griswold took fifth and sixth for 27 points with
Nathan Lee adding 11 in eighth place.
In the 100 free,
Andrija Petkovic swam a time of 43.62, four tenths of a second from breaking the program record. He finished sixth in the event with
Ryan Kirton (11th),
Zach Elian (13th),
Aidan Rikic (14th),
Lucas Brunett (17th), and
Adrian Bellido (19th) following behind him.
Three Triton men scored in the 200 breast for a total of 32 points.
Jake Reuter,
Luke Pusateri, and
Colton Milne took fourth through sixth in the event.
Chad Morrison led the way in the 200 fly finishing eighth with a time of 1:51.80. He was followed by
Yuma Dugas who finished 12th and
Austin Lathrop who finished 14th.
TEAM STANDINGS
Team scores include diving scores, UC San Diego does not have dive teams.

The Tritons will send a qualifying contingent to the CSCAA National Invitational Championships hosted in Ocala, Fld. during March.
