DANA POINT, Calif. — On the first day of the Orange County Collegiate, the players got through a full opening round of 18 but play was halted for darkness during the second round.
Second-round play will resume at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday with the third and final round to follow at 8:30 a.m. Action can be followed with
live scoring.
Cal State Fullerton and UC Irvine are co-hosting the two-day, 54-hole tournament at the Monarch Beach Golf Links.

HOW IT HAPPENED
UC San Diego was 12-over par on the par-70, 6,645-yard course, totaling a 292 in the first round.
CSUN shot a round-best 273 (-7). Cal State Fullerton and Sacramento followed with a 277.
Davis McDowell, who won this event last season on a different course, and
Nathan Tseng both shot a 67 (-3).
CSUN's Felix Schrott led the field with his 64 (-6) while Kurtis Rodriguez from California Baptist and Patrick Ordonez each fired a 66 (-4).
