In bracket play, the team defeated Greece in 10 innings with a 10-9 win before narrowly falling to Italy in a 2-0 loss.

Â
Lewis and Wampler played alongside players hailing from Oregon State, Yale, Wisconsin, West Texas A&M, and crosstown foe University of San Diego. Wampler was part of the pitching staff for the Israeli team while Lewis was the team's utility player. For the lefty pitcher, this is her third summer competing with the national team. This is Lewis' second year with the national team and plans on helping the team reach the 2028 Olympics.

Palmer was named head coach of the national team in October 2020 and has led the team since. In 2021, she guided the team to a fourth place finish out of 17 nations at the Women's European Championship in Italy. This is Woofter's second year with the national team as the assistant coach.
