LA JOLLA, Calif. — The UC San Diego track and field team kicked off the annua Triton Invitational with the women's team competing in three events on day one.

Julia Di Silvestri put up a solid measure in the Pole Vault, finishing tied for second overall with a height of 3.65m.Â

In the Hammer Throw,
Crystal Diei finished ninth with a throw of 49.81m whileÂ
Sarah Perkins finished in sixth place for the Discus Throw with a distance of 44.68m.Â
