SAN DIEGO—UC San Diego women's rowing competed in the San Diego Crew Classic over the weekend on Mission Bay. The Tritons raced five boats in the two-day event, including the varsity eight, second varsity eight, varsity four, novice eight, and open eight.
WOMEN'S VARSITY 8+
UC San Diego's varsity eight finished in fourth place in the Collegiate Varsity UCSD Health Cal Cup Final 1, just 3.787 seconds off the podium. The Tritons trailed USD, MIT and Stanford with a time of 7:13.239. UC San Diego's top team consisted of

The second varsity eight finished second in the Collegiate 2V Jackie Ann Stitt Hungness Trophy Final 2, just behind Loyola Marymount with a time of 7:27.543. The Tritons finished 3.267 seconds shy of first place and just ahead of MIT. The second varsity eight consisted of

WOMEN'S COLLEGIATE 4+
The Tritons took first place in the Collegiate Varsity 4+ Karen Plumleigh Courtney Cup Final 2, crossing with a time of 8:18.622 ahead of Loyola Marymount, MIT and Santa Clara respectively. The team consisted of

WOMEN'S NOVICE 8+
The Triton novice eight came in fourth in the Collegiate Novice Laurel Karholz Perpetual Trophy Final 1, finishing behind Washington, British Columbia and UCLA respectively, with a time of 7:52.141. The novice team consisted of
