QUOTABLE
"We had an excellent weekend of racing," said UC San Diego head coach
Colin Truex. "The V4 won two of its races and placed second by a bow ball in its third event. The V8 was able to defeat Santa Clara, LMU, and Sac State while also closing the gap on USD to two seconds, and the 2V8 and 2V4, despite some adversity, raced hard and showed improvement with each time down the course. The team is exhausted from three max effort races in two days but is fired up and ready to take on the championship stretch of our season!"
