Episode 88: Triton Basketball Season Preview!

LA JOLLA, Calif. – Episode 88 of Tritoncast, the official podcast for UC San Diego Athletics, has dropped and is available to download or stream on every major podcast platform.

As the calendar turns to November, we're previewing UC San Diego basketball on episode 88 of Tritoncast! Join us in the Triton Spotlight as ESPN's Ted Mendenhall chats with women's basketball head coach Heidi VanDerveer. Later, ESPN's Steve Quis is joined by men's basketball head coach Eric Olen to preview the season that begins Monday night. Also this week, host Jeff Tourial takes the usual trip around campus to get you caught up on everything going on with UC San Diego Athletics in the Campus Spotlight.

After two decades as one of the most successful programs in NCAA Division II, the UC San Diego intercollegiate athletics program began a new era in 2020 as a member of The Big West in NCAA Division I.
