LOS ANGELES – UC San Diego swim teams wrapped day two of the USC Invitational with three team records set by the women's side and each team taking down UC Santa Barbara.
Wrapping the second day, the invite consisted of 200 free relay, 400 individual medley relay, 100 fly, 200 free, 100 breast, 200 medley relay, 1650 free, 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly, and 400 free relay.
ON THE MEN'S SIDE
Nathan Lee finished sixth in the 400 IM with a time of 3:556.53. In the 100 fly,
Chad Morrison and
Zach Elian tied for fourth coming in at 49.19.
Andrija Petkovic took fourth for the gold and blue in the 200 free with a time of 1:37.57.
Luke Pusateri finished third in the 100 breast stroke with a time of 55.11.
In the 200 medley relay, Petkovic, Pusateri, Morrison, and Elian took fourth with a time of 1:28.39, coming in a 0.09 seconds behind third. Lee posted a third place finish in the 200 breast with a time of 1:46.35 with teammate
Robby Griswold following close behind in fifth. Taking the highest finish on the men's side, Petkovic posted a time of 43.98 in the 100 free to take second place. Pusateri finished fourth in the 200 breast with a time of 2:01.39.
Finishing the invite with the 400 free relay, Petkovic, Elian,
Aidan Rikic, and
Ryan Kirton took fourth with a itme of 2:58.49.
ON THE WOMEN'S SIDE
Freshman Eva Boelhke had a career day as she set two program records for the Tritons. Taking second in the 400 IM, Boehlke posted a 4:16.58. She did it again in the 200 back with a time of 1:57.09 to take second place in a pool of 14. As an individual, Boehlke recorded three second place finishes and a third-place finish in the 200 IM.
In the 100 fly,
Miranda Renner finished fifth with
Sandy Li finishing in sixth. The teammates finished within 0.07 seconds of one another.
Chloe Braun brought in another second-place finish for the Tritons with a time of 1:01.40 in the 100 breast. In the 200 medley relay, Boelhke, Braun, Renner, Jojo Odgers finished second with a time of 1:40.33.
Juli Arzave posted the only first place finish for both squads in the 1650 free. The senior swam the mile in 16:35.84. Taking fourth in the 200 fly,
Gabi Icheva swam a time of 2:04.57.

The Tritons will host Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Saturday, Oct. 21 at Canyonview Aquatic Center. The dual-meet is set to start at 12 p.m. with free admittance.
