AZUSA, Calif. — UC San Diego track and field sent a group of distance runners to the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific University, where they faced easily their strongest competition of the season Wednesday through Friday, with teams from the Pac-12, Big 12, Big 10, and SEC all in attendance.
Â
At a meet that saw nine stadium records and six meet records fall, the Tritons produced eight new top-ten marks in school history, with six of those eight set by athletes who were previously not in the record books.
