th-ranked UC San Diego women's water polo team is set to face two ranked opponents this week at Canyonview Aquatics Center, first facing No. 11 UC Davis in a Big West Conference matchup on Friday, March 25, before hosting 17
th-ranked Loyola Marymount on Sunday, March 27 for Senior Day. This pair of matches will be the final home contests for the Tritons this season.

WHAT'S AT STAKE
UC San Diego enters with eight consecutive wins under their belt, a stretch that dates back to an 11-10 win over UC Santa Barbara on Feb. 27 in their final match of the Barbara Kalbus Invitational. Three of those wins came against top-25 ranked opponents, with the 10-9 win over then No. 9 Long Beach State on March 11 being the top-ranked opponent. UC San Diego is 0-2 against the Aggies this season, both losses coming in February. The Tritons fell 9-7 to UC Davis at the Triton Invitational on Feb. 13 in their first meeting of the season before losing 11-8 to the same Aggies at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational on Feb. 26.
RECORD WATCH
Ciara Franke is on the brink of becoming the 10
th all-time goal scorer in UC San Diego history. With 195 goals, she is currently tied for 10
th with Brenda Reiton. Franke has netted 42 goals, despite missing six matches over the course of the season. With 153 career steals, Franke is also on the cusp of the top-10 list in this category, with five less than Kristen Larson.
Bennett Bugelli recorded eight more saves against Wagner, bringing her career total up to 754 career saves. In the win over UCSB at the Kalbus Invitational, Bugelli moved up to third all-time, passing Maryam Hadiashar, 697 saves, and Leona Mason, 701 saves. This season, she has already leapt up from ninth place after making 25 saves at the UCSB Winter Invite. Next on the list is Jefi Paulsen with 852 saves.
