LA JOLLA, Calif. - The UC San Diego Invitational men's golf tournament returns to La Costa on Monday, March 21, and Tuesday, March 22, with the Tritons hosting 14 other squads from around the nation.
Now in its second season, the tournament features 54 holes of play on La Costa's Champions Course with team and individual winners being crowned Tuesday following the third and final round.
All 11 scholar-athletes on the Tritons' roster are competing, five counting towards the team score and six playing as individuals.
Six teams out of the Big West Conference will be on course including CSUN, Hawaii, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UC San Diego, and UC Santa Barbara.
Play gets underway at 9 a.m. PT on both Monday and Tuesday.
Fans are welcome to attend the tournament and there is no charge for entry.

After 20 seasons playing as an NCAA Division II team, the entire athletics program has begun a four-year transition to NCAA Division I, culminating in full DI status as a member of the Big West Conference for the 2024-25 academic year.
