QUOTABLE
"We've been working very hard for several weeks and I believe we showed well today," said head coach
Colin Truex. "USD has a few weeks of training on us and have competed in a couple of other races already so for our program to be right there with them is a good sign for the spring. Almost half of our team raced for the first time as UCSD Tritons and they were proud and excited to represent their school. We have a few more weeks of training in this segment so if we keep grinding hard and carry this momentum through the holiday break, I believe we will be even more competitive next time we see USD in February!"
