LA JOLLA, Calif. – A new era is here as season tickets for UC San Diego's first season of Division I basketball are now on sale! Earlier this month, it was announced that the UC San Diego men's basketball team will host the California Golden Bears at RIMAC Arena on November 10 in the program's first game as an NCAA Division I institution.
 
The Tritons are competing in their 20th and final season at the Division II level this year. Beginning July 1, UC San Diego will transition to Division I and the Big West Conference.
 
Fans can get in on the ground floor by becoming an inaugural UC San Diego basketball season ticket holder. Purchasing season tickets will be the only way to ensure access to the Cal game and every home game next season. Tickets for men's basketball start as low as $79.
 
RIMAC Arena holds nearly 4,000 spectators, and 42% of the arena has been allocated to accommodate UC San Diego students. Current students are provided free admission to Tritons basketball games while space permits.
 
Season tickets for UC San Diego women's basketball – including options for courtside seating – are also now available for purchase, starting as low as $59.
