This week's contests include a road trip to Azusa Pacific on Feb. 17 for a nonconference doubleheader and a four-game California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) series on Feb. 21-22 against Stanislaus State at Triton Softball Field.

SERIES HISTORY
Azusa Pacific
The Tritons are an even 23-23 (.500) all time against the Cougars. Last season, Azusa Pacific came up victorious in a nonconference doubleheader on April 10. Game scores were 2-8 and 1-2 in favor of APU.
Stanislaus State
UC San Diego is 66-31 (.680) all time against the Warriors. In 2019, the Tritons swept the regular season series, winning all four games in Turlock.
LAST TIME OUT
The Tritons went 2-2 this past weekend in Carson, splitting their second CCAA series with Cal State Dominguez Hills. Game one and four concluded in extra innings with game one going to the Toros and game four to the Tritons. Sophomore
Clarissa Reynoso was responsible for the two-run double down the left field line to bring in the go-ahead run, plus one to wrap up the series.
Junior
Sherriah Harrington led the Tritons at the plate, recording a team-high batting average of .667 through the four games. Harrington went 6-for-9, with one home run and one double. She filled the stat sheet, tallying five RBIs, two runs, two stolen bases, two sac flies, and four walks. Harrington posted a .667 on-base percentage and a slugging percentage of 1.111. The Chula Vista product also played a perfect first base, committing zero errors with 45 putouts.
As a team, UC San Diego put up 17 hits in game three en route a 9-5 victory over the Toros. The Tritons also stole a season-high four bases that same game.
CCAA LEADER BOARD
After 15 games of play, the Tritons currently rank second in overall batting average (.338) behind Cal State San Bernardino (.346) and list second in ERA (1.86) behind No. 20 Chico State (0.56).

MILESTONES IN THE MAKING
Robyn Wampler collected her 400th career strikeout on Feb. 4 against Hawaii Pacific. The lefty now ranks fourth all-time at UC San Diego in career strikeouts with almost two complete years left to play. In addition, seniors
Danica Kazakoff (Feb. 4) and
Mikaila Reyes (Feb. 14) have both reached their 100th career hit in a Triton uniform.
NFCA TOP-50 PLAYER OF THE YEAR "WATCH LIST"
Sophomore outfielder
Keila Bosinger was named to the Schutt Sports/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II National Player and Pitcher of the Year "Watch List" on Thursday morning. After exhibiting a phenomenal freshman campaign, Bosinger was one of 11 sophomores and one of four players from the CCAA to earn the distinction. In 2019, the Chula Vista native garnered All-CCAA First Team and D2CCA accolades as well as UC San Diego's Offensive Player of the Year. To read more, click

HEAD COACH PATTI GERCKENS
Patti Gerckens enters her 28th season at the helm of the UC San Diego softball program in 2020. Over her 27-year career, Gerckens has collected an overall record of 769-607 (.559) with 12 30-win seasons in the last 13 years. The winningest coach in program history, Gerckens led the Tritons to the program's third and most recent National Championship appearance in 2019. The Tritons finished as national runners-up in her milestone 20th campaign in 2012 and 2011 brought UC San Diego softball its first national title.
Gerckens was CCAA Coach of the Year in 2007, 2011 and 2019 and has garnered the NFCA's West Region Coaching Staff of the Year honor three times while in the head coaching position. For Gerckens' complete bio, click

Following this weekend's series, the blue and gold will head north to Seaside to take on Cal State Monterey Bay in a four-game conference series on Feb. 28-29. BIG WEST BOUND
UC San Diego is in its 20th and final year playing as an NCAA Division II team. In July of 2020, the entire athletics program will begin a four-year transition to NCAA Division I, culminating in full DI status as a member of the
Big West Conference for the 2024-25 academic year. At that time, all sports will be eligible for conference and NCAA postseason play.
