The Tritons will take on No. 12 Loyola Marymount on Sunday for 11th place, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

UC San Diego 14, SJSU 8

The sophomore trio of Ciara Franke, Grace Pevehouse and Taylor Onstott scored three goals apiece, while seniors Chanel Schilling and Maddy Wieseler both scored twice. In addition, junior goalkeeper Reilly Gallagher finished with eight saves.

After leading by three at intermission, Onstott, junior Jessee Ransone and Franke scored consecutive goals to put UC San Diego ahead 11-5 with 2:42 remaining in the third quarter. The Tritons extended their lead to 13-6 after Pevehouse's power-play score with 7:41 left in the game.

UCSB 8, UC San Diego 6

The Tritons fought hard in the second game of the day behind three goals from Pevehouse, but ultimately ran out of steam against the Gauchos.

UC San Diego rallied from a three-goal deficit to knot the score, 5-5, on Schilling's goal with 6:21 remaining in the game. However, UCSB ran off three-straight scores to take an 8-5 advantage with 3:26 remaining.
