CARSON, Calif. – Five players scored in double-figures led by a career-high 22 from junior guard
Gabe Hadley as the eighth-ranked UC San Diego men's basketball team downed Cal State Dominguez Hills, 84-65, in a CCAA contest at the Torodome Tuesday night. With the win, UC San Diego is 9-1 overall and 3-1 in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play. Dominguez Hills fell to 7-4 overall and 3-2 in the CCAA.
"Gabe is a really good shooter, and over the course of the season we expect him to make shots," said UC San Diego head coach
Eric Olen. "Coming off a loss and then a long layoff, the guys couldn't wait to get back out there and show what they're capable of. The break came at a good time and allowed us to work on defining roles."
