Former UC San Diego men's water polo standout Nick Alexander was named an assistant coach with the Triton women's program in October of 2025.
A two-time Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) Division II All-America First Team selection and two-time All-Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) performer, Alexander played for the Tritons from 2013 to 2016.
