AS A JUNIOR IN 2007: Appeared in 18 games as a setter in her first year on the La Jolla campus... recorded a season-high six assists in two games against Cal State Dominguez Hills on October 13... recorded first kill as a Triton on September 1... UCSD went 11-1 in matches she played in.

AT EL CAMINO COLLEGE: Volleyball team finished third (2005) and sixth (2006) in the state... earned second-team all-conference in 2005 and first-team all-conference in 2006... also selected as the 2006 El Camino College Athlete of the Year.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned a CIF championship playing for the volleyball team at South Torrance HS... named Athlete of the Year and South High All-League in 2005... also earned All-CIF honors in soccer.

PERSONAL: Born September 26, 1987... parents are Don and Linda Martinez... has two siblings named Josh and Chris... a Human Development major in Sixth College... career goals include becoming an elementary school teacher.
