Born in Newport Beach to Hong and Nelson…Has two older siblings, Rylie and Harrison …Both parents attended Long Beach State…Started playing volleyball at age 8 as a libero, then transitioned to a right-side hitter, then a lefty outside hitter, then back to the libero position…Favorite volleyball memory was beating the reigning NCAA Champions, Wisconsin her freshman year at Pitt to advance to the Final Four…Hopes to pursue a career as a diagnostic medical sonographer, specializing in monitoring maternal and fetal health during pregnancy…Enjoys yoga, reading and walks in her spare time…Favorite movie is Whiplash…Listens to Mt. Joy, Bob Marley and Chris Stapleton.
