Tom Haight enters his second season as an assistant coach at UC San Diego. He was a first-team all-conference volleyball player at Los Angeles Pierce College and graduated with a BA in Economics from Cal State Northridge.

Tom coached the Santa Monica Beach Club team to two top-10 finishes and one top-15 finish in the 15-and-under division from 2001-2005. He was also an assistant coach at L.A. Pierce College from 2003-05 and won two Western State Conference Championships and a fifth place finish in the California State Championships.

As UCSD’s top assistant, Haight is responsible for all technical aspects (the cauldron, maintaining game and practice video and managing the Data Volley programs). Tom is also the recruiting coordinator.
