As a Freshman in 2008-09: Earned All-Conference and All-American honors for a stellar 2008-09 campaign... at the NCAA Division II National Championships, took 11th in the 100 back (57.02) in the fourth-fastest time in UCSD history and 16th in the 200 back (2:04.80) with the fifth-best all-time mark for a Triton... at the PCSC Championships, placed sixth in the 100 back (59.27), 11th in the 50 free (24.49), 12th in the 200 back (02:08.21)and was part of a 200 medley relay-winning team that posted a 1:45.29 mark.

High School: Attended Estancia High School in Costa Mesa, Calif... named MVP during all four years of high school... helped team to four CIFs and three Master's Meets... achieved statistical bests of 58.55 in the 100 back and 24.87 in the 50 free... also a member of Splash Aquatics, helping team to three OCSC Championships.
