Biography
AS A JUNIOR IN 2006-07: Kloos recorded a time of 4:57.11 in the 500 free at the PCSC Championships helping the Tritons earn the first-place finish.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2005-06: Scored points for UCSD at the PCSC’s in the 500 free with a time of 4:52.14... also scored season best times at the Speedo Cup in the 100 breast at 59.97 and the 200 breast at 2:09.21.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2004-05: Recorded season-best times at the PCSC’s in the 100 breast (1:00.07) and the 200 breast with a time of 2:10.02.
HIGH SCHOOL: Comes to UCSD from Arcadia HS in Phoenix, Ariz.... the 200 yard Medley Relay team is the 4A state record holder... Swimmer of the Year in 2003 and a two-time All-Region selection... personal best times in the 100 breast (1:00.35), 200 breast (2:09.37), and the 200 IM (2:01.67).
PERSONAL: Born September 21, 1985 in Phoenix, Ariz.... parents are John Kloos and Kathy Shannon... has two siblings, Katie and Erin... Erin swims for the University of Washington... Biochemistry and Cell Biology major at Muir College... hobbies include photography and playing the drums.
