AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2005-06: Forbes recorded her best times at the Pacific Coast Swimming Conference Championships with a 1:59.96 in the 200 free, a 500 free time of 5:13.25 and a 1650 free time of 18:11.15.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2004-05: Recorded her top time in the 1000 free at the PCSC’s with a time of 11:00.32, helping UCSD secure the championship... also recorded a 5:13.74 time in the 500 free at the PCSC’s and a time of 2:22.49 in the 200 fly against UC Santa Cruz.

HIGH SCHOOL: Comes to UC San Diego from Acton-Boxboro Regional HS in Acton, Mass.... high school squad took two second-place finishes at the State (Mass.) championships... the Academic All-American was named to several all-star teams including the Metro West Daily News and Dual County League where she also earned MVP honors... a member of the Patriot Swim club (Acton, Mass.) and the City of Plano Swim Team (Plano, Tex.).

PERSONAL: Born July 16, 1986 in Long Beach, Calif.... parents are Michael and Marney Forbes... one sibling Shannon... Undeclared major in Revelle College.
