High School: Attended Marantha High School in Pasadena, Calif... as a senior at the 2009 Division IV CIF Championships, won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:00.12 and placed second in the 200 individual medley with a 1:58.95 mark... also competed for the Swim Pasadena club team that competed at the Spring National Championships, the Summer Junior Championships and the Junior Olympics.
Personal: Born April 9, 1991... parents are Johannes Masehi-Lano and Juliana Lano Utomo... is a Computer Engineering major at Warren College... has a younger sister named Jacqueline... enjoys playing the piano and other sports in his spare time... favorite athletes are Kosuke Kitajima and Usain Bolt... aspires to be a computer engineer.
