*2010 NCAA Division II National Championships 'A' Qualifier*
At the University of Washington: As a junior, named to the Pac-10 All-Academic Second Team after tallying a 3.18 GPA as an Electrical Engineering major... placed 10th in the 1650 free at the 2009 Pac-10 Championships with a time of 15:32.30... also finished 18th in the 500 free at the conference championships with a 4:28.51 mark... finished third in the 1650 free at a dual meet with the University of Southern California his junior year... at the 2008 Husky Invitational, a competition between Pac-10 schools such as USC, UC Santa Barbara and Cal Berkeley, he finished third in the 1650 free and and eighth in the 500 free... as a sophomore took 15th in the 500 free (4:34.58) and 24th in the 200 free (1:42.90) at the 2008 Pac-10 Championships... placed 9th out of 20 competitors in the 1650 free at the 2007 Husky Invitational... won the 500 free at Cal State Northridge as a sophomore... won the 1000 free against Seattle as a sophomore and also had two second-place finishes and three third-place finishes in the event in dual meets.... swam the 400 and 1650 free events at the 2007 Pac-10 Championships as a freshman, placing 13th in the 1650 free and 19th in the 500 free.
High School: A four-year letterwinner at University High School in Irvine, Calif... three-time Most Valuable Swimmer... led team to three league championships as a freshman, sophomore and junior... team placed second in the league as a senior... earned All-America honors in the 200 and 500 free.
