AS A JUNIOR IN 2007-08: An All-Conference and All-American selection on the season... part of first-place 400 medley relay team that finished with NCAA qualifying time of 3:50.73 at PCSC Championships... also finished first with the 400 free relay team, member of runner-up 200 medley relay team, and NCAA qualifying 200 free relay squad, while individually finishing third in the 100 free with a time of 52.58... at the NCAA Championships, swam with the 800 free, 200 medley, and 400 medley relay teams to new school records and second-, third-, and fourth-place finishes, respectively... helped 200 free relay team to a second-place finish in a time of 1:34.66, swimming the third-best 50 free split in UCSD history at 23.22... scored individually at the NCAA Championships in the 200 free with a 16th place finish in a time of 1:54.08

AT SADDLEBACK COLLEGE:  Earned Scholar Club honors as a member of the Saddleback College swimming team... earned All-American status in each of her two years of competition... set the school record in the 100 free... finished second in the State in the 50 and 100 free events, along with the 200 IM.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Laugna Hills HS in June of 2005... two-sport athlete in swimming and soccer... earned All-American honors in swimming during her senior season... set the Laguna Hills HS record in the 50 free with a time of 24.07... also earned a spot on the Principal’s Honor Roll.

PERSONAL: Born March 20, 1987... parents are Mark and Martha Deters... parents graduated from Wayne State University... has two siblings named Brean and Morgan... hobbies include surfing, running and soccer... a Human Development major in Muir College.
