AS A JUNIOR IN 2005-06: Harlan earned the top-seed at the NCAA Championships in the 50 free, taking the title in a swift 23.54 and placed second at the PCSC’s in the 100 free with a time of 52.11... member of the 200 medley relay school record team with a time of 1:45.53 set at the NCAA Championships... times in the 50 and 100 free rank second all-time at UCSD.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2004-05: A team co-captain for the 2005-06 season... continued with her All-American honors and won a national championship as part of the 400 medley relay team at the NCAA Championships... also at the NCAA’s, Harlan swam under the school record in the 50 free with a time of 23.32, finishing just behind teammate Rosanna Delurgio... Harlan also owns the second fastest time ever at UCSD in the 100 free at 51.16 set at the Speedo Cup... Harlan was also part of the school record holding 400 free relay team which raced to a time of 3:26.98 at the NCAA’s... will co-captain the 2004-05 squad.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2003-2004: A 2004 UCSD Rookie of the Year and All-American returns for her second-season with the Tritons... climbed the school record books to the top spot in the 50 free (23.50) and the 100 free (51.42)... also a member of the school-record relays (200 free, 400 free, 200 medley, 400 medley), including a first-place finish at the 2004 NCAA championships in the 200 free relay.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Yucaipa HS where she was a member of the swimming and water polo teams... high school team was a four-time San Andreas League Champion in swimming and two-time champs in water polo... four-time gold medalist/All-American at 2003 CIF division III southern section finals for swimming... valedictorian of her high school class.

PERSONAL: Born on September 4, 1986 in San Bernardino, Calif.... parents are Don and Stephanie Harlan... has a younger sister Joanna... undeclared major with a Psychology minor in Revelle College... interests include art, water polo, and surfing.
