AS A JUNIOR IN 2005-06: Distance swimmer recorded her best times at the PCSC’s in the 1650 free (18:41.04) and the 200 free (2:02.98)... also notched a season-best time of 5:29.58 in the 500 free at the Speedo Cup.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2004-05: Helped the Tritons to the PCSC Championship with her 100 free time of 11:07.43... also notched a season best time in the 500 free (5:26.06) at the Speedo Cup.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2003-04: In her first season at UC San Diego, recorded personal best times in the 1650 free (18:43.07), 1000 free (11:29) and the 500 free (5:23.6)... UCSD freshman GPA winner for swimming last season... two-time Provost’s honors winner at Muir.

HIGH SCHOOL: Before UCSD she was a member of North Coast Aquatics which has won five straight Junior Olympic Team titles and has sent several swimmers to the Olympic trials... Junior Olympics qualifier and competior from 1997-03... attended University City HS in San Diego where she was a five-time CIF finalist and scholar athlete.

PERSONAL: Born September 3, 1985 in San Diego, Calif.... parents are Richard and Kathleen Severs... has three siblings, Lauren, Amy, and Ben... Art History major in Muir College... hobbies include surfing, sailing, reading, movies, and music.
