As a Freshman in 2008-09: Earned All-Conference honors during his freshman campaign... finished second in the three-meter diving final with 457.80 points and fifth in the one-meter diving final with 368.30 points at the PCSC Championships... was the second-best UCSD finisher in the one-meter diving final behind teammate Patrick Cohen at the Wildcat Dive Invitational.

High School: Attended Hanford High School in Hanford, Calif... helped team to 9-0 season during senior year, going undefeated against all league, area, and section competition... CIF Central Section Champion and third place finisher during AAU California State Meet in diving... also played water polo during all four years of high school and played on a club soccer team for six years.

Personal: Born Oct. 8, 1989... parents are Richard and Bobby McGrory, both of whom attended the University of Nebraska... has three siblings named John, Bethany, and Katie... a Biology major in Sixth College... enjoys surfing, snowboarding, listening to music and hanging out with friends in his spare time.
