AS A JUNIOR IN 2007-08: Took top honors as part of the 400 free relay and 800 free relay teams at the PCSC Championships... also notched a fifth-place time of 1:53.99 in the 200 free during the PCSC Championships... set three school records while at the NCAA Championships, first as part of the 200 medley relay team’s third-place finish with a time of 1:45.12, then in the preliminaries of the 200 free with a time of 1:51.26, and finally with the 800 free relay team’s second-place time of 7:29.18... was named an All-American for her efforts... also competed for the Tritons at the NCAA Championships as part of second-place finish in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:34.66 and with the 400 free relay team, helping the squad to a fourth-place finish and time of 3:28.20... individually produced a finals time of 1:52.47 in the 200 free to finish eighth in the event and clocked in at 57.93 for an 11th place finish in the 100 back as part of the NCAA Championships. 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006-07: recorded a fourth-place finish in the 200 back at the PCSC’s with a time of 2:06.19... part of the first-place 200 free relay, 800 free relay team at the PCSC’s... at the NCAA Championships, Panis earned All-American honors in the 200 free in 1:54.12, the 200 back in 2:07.22, the 800 free relay in third place with a time of 7:35.74 and part of the 400 free relay finishing second with a time of 3:28.31.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005-06: Earned All-American honors with her 200 back time of 2:07.43 and 50 back time of 27.80 at the NCAA Championships... also recorded a top time of 59.11 in the 100 back and a 50 free time of 24.25, also at the NCAA’s... 50 free time rankes seventh in the UCSD record book... also cracked the UCSD all-time top ten in the 200 back.

PERSONAL: Born January 9, 1987... parents are Claude Panis and Melinda Scharf... has two siblings named Brenden and Caitlin... an undeclared major in Muir College.
