Biography
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2007-08: Earned All-Conference and All-American status in her first season at UCSD... competed with the first-place 800 free relay team that finished with a time of 7:34.57, more than six seconds faster than the second-place finisher, at the PCSC Championships... finished 10th overall in the 200 free at the NCAA Championships with a time of 1:52.50, fourth fastest in UCSD history... won silver as part of 800 free relay team with a new school record mark of 7:29.14... helped 400 free relay team to a time of 3:28.20 and a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Woodcrest Christian School in Riverside, Calif... helped women’s swim team to first league title... earned Academic All-America recognition as well as All-League MVP and team MVP... finished 2nd in 100 and 200 free event and 3rd in 200 free event twice... went undefeated in league... swam for Riverside Aquatics Association for 10 years.... Competed n every Junior Olympics since the age of 9... represented Southern California in the Western Zone Championships, helping team to first-place finish in 2006... USA Swimming Academic All-American.
PERSONAL: Born June 3, 1989... parents are Stewart and Stacey Douglas... has two younger siblings named Payton and Hunter... aspires to become a neurologist or a neurosurgeon... a Cognitive Science major in Earl Warren College... enjoys reading, taking pictures, and going to art museums in her free time.
