AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009-10: Competed at the 2010 Pacific Collegiate Swimming Conference Championships... There in Long Beach, Calif., he took 26th place in the 500 free (4:48.12), 27th in the 200 free (1:44.99) and 42nd in the 100 free (48.54)... Awarded the team's Ryan Kloos Spirit Award... Ended the school year on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll at the Gold Level (includes GPAs above 3.500).

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Bettendorf High School in Bettendorf, Iowa... Competed for the Bettendorf Swim Club from 1998 to 2009... Led club to State Championships on multiple occasions... Posted personal bests of 58.83 in the 100 breaststroke, 2:08.53 in the 200 breast and 1:55.28 in the 200 individual medley... As a senior finished fourth in the 200 IM and sixth in the 100 breast on the Iowa state level.

PERSONAL: Born July 14, 1991... Parents are Scott and Judith White... Is a Psychology major at Revelle College... Has an older sister named Amy... Enjoys longboarding, playing music, playing video games and watching TV in his free time... Favorite pro teams are the San Diego Chargers and Chicago Cubs.
