AS A JUNIOR IN 2006-07: Finished ninth on the three-meter board and eighth on the one-meter board, scoring points for the Tritons at the PCSC Championships, helping UCSD claim the title.

CHAFFEY COLLEGE: Diver at Chaffey College for two seasons.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Etiwanda HS where he was a member of the Rancho Cucamonga Indians Baseball Club, Little Tokyo Giants Baseball Club and Trojan Dive... baseball team placed second at the junior Olympics.

PERSONAL: Born June 20, 1984... parents are Angel and Margaret Cantu... father is a Cal Poly Pomona graduate while mother is a graduate of UC Irvine... has a sister named Cheyenne... lists hobbies as diving, bike riding, surfing, playing the guitar, football and baseball... a Biochemistry and Cell Biology major in Revelle College.
