Rob Patty completed his 10th season with the Tritons in 2024.
He was named Operations Assistant with the program in September of 2015.
Patty has been working at UC San Diego since 1999. He started as a student worker with Sports Facilities at Canyonview Pool.
Patty graduated from UC San Diego in 2002 with a 3.5 GPA as a human development major
He completed a four-year apprenticeship at La Jolla High School's Coggan Family Aquatics Complex while concurrently working at Canyonview.
Patty was also an assistant coach for the La Jolla High School boys and girls water polo team. Thirteen of his players earned All-America accolades.
He completed his apprenticeship at Coggan Family Aquatics Complex in 2006 and started working as a maintenance mechanic at Canyonview shortly after.
