Jeff Hall hails from St. Paul, Minnesota and played collegiate volleyball at the University of the Pacific where he was a full scholarship recipient. Hall received his B.F.A. degree in graphic Design. He was able to compete in the MPSF for two years and was the two time offensive Player of the Year for Pacific. After college Hall was selected to the United States Olympic Festival for two summers and was able to play on the beach for the AVP professionally for four seasons.

Hall has been coaching for over ten years for men’s and woman’s teams. Most recently he has been the first assistant at Grossmont College for five seasons where his teams finished fifth in the state twice. He has also coached at Seaside Volleyball Club as the Head Coach in Del Mar for seven seasons. He is currently coaching 17-1s at Seaside. His Seaside team won the gold medal at the 2006 Junior Olympics in Minnesota. His teams have finished third in the nation twice, fifth three times, and seventh and ninth. Hall is currently coaching the 18-1s and is ranked No. 1 in the nation. Jeff also coached locally at Mission Bay high school for three years and is the assistant for the women’s volleyball team at UCSD.

Hall’s fiancée is Jayme Gutierez and they have a baby girl named Dylan Makela Hall that was born on November 27th 2005. They are expecting a second child in July.
