AS A FRESHMAN IN 2008-09: Made 23 appearances on the season, the most among UCSD's six freshmen... Averaged 6.2 minutes per game on the year... Scored five points on 1-of-2 shooting at Notre Dame de Namur on November 28... Hit both of his shots and finished with five points in the Tritons' 67-58 win over Cal State Stanislaus on January 23... Dished out a season-best three assists against Academy of Art on December 20.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of Temecula Valley High School in Temecula, Calif., where he was a four-year letterwinner on the varsity basketball team... A first team all-league selection after guiding the team to a 22-6 overall record as a junior... That squad advanced to the second round of the CIF Division IAA playoffs... Averaged 16.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.4 steals as a junior... Injuries limited him to just nine games as a senior... Recorded personal bests of 37 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists as a prepster...  Also lettered in football at TVHS.
