SPIRIT GROUPS

Spirit Groups play an integral role in athletic departments across the United States.  UC San Diego epitomizes what the college and athletic experience is meant to be.  With 24 varsity sports there is never a shortage of excitement here on campus.  King Triton and the rest of the spirit leaders encourage all to come out and support Triton Athletics. To learn more about the various spirit groups please click on the corresponding links below.

APPEARANCE REQUESTS

Cheer, Dance, Pep Band, and Mascot appearances are available upon request with a MINIMUM of 3 weeks notice. Due to student time demands we cannot guarantee that each request will be fulfilled. Priority will be given to academic and athletic-related responsibilities.

All requests for appearances will be fulfilled at the discretion of the UC San Diego Intercollegiate Athletics Department. The department reserves the right to refuse any appearance that conflicts with the best interests of the University and its students.

For your requests please note the following:

• The mascot must be provided a secure changing room at the event venue.
• Team(s) must be provided food for appearances longer than 3 HOURS.
• Team(s) are available to engage with your guests, take pictures, perform routines, and lead Triton cheers.
• The team(s) will arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled performance (unless otherwise arranged).
