AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2007: Led the team with 61 goals while adding 15 assists... earned All-WWPA honors along with being named to the ACWP All-American Division II team... led UCSD with three goals in the fifth-place game win over Redlands at the Western Water Polo Association Championships... scored five goals in a 15-14 win over Air Force at the Triton Invitational.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006: Appeared in 76 quarters with 17 goals, eight steals and four assists... also drew 12 ejections... scored a goal against Navy in the NCAA Consolation Finals... netted two goals in UCSD’s 13-12 win over UCLA on Oct. 6.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Servite HS where the water polo team won the Serra League Championship from 2002-05... earned serveral Junior Olympic awards and All-American selections... team won the CIF south section division II championship in 2002 and 2005.

PERSONAL: Born April 16, 1988... parents are Arturo and Patricia Garcia... parents are Cal Poly Pomona alumni... has one sister named Jackie... a Pre-Bioengineering major in Warren College.
