AS JUNIOR IN 2005-06: Bell, the 2005-06 PCSC Swimmer of the Year, earned NCAA All-American honors and continued her assault on the UCSD record book... she swam a 26.94 in the 50 back at the NCAA’s, a new school record... she also had times of 57.44 in the 100 back and 4:25.69 in the 400 IM good for second all-time at UCSD in both categories... she also placed third in both the 200 back (2:05.39) and the 200 IM (2:05.63) at the NCAA’s.

AS SOPHOMORE IN 2004-05: In her second season on the UCSD campus, Bell earned All-American honors and was a member of the 2005 National Champion 400 Medley Relay team which posted a first-place time of 3:48.58, setting a new school record... Bell ranks third all-time in the 100 back and 200 back at UCSD... she also ranks fourth all-time in school history in the 200 breast and 200 IM... she was also a part of the school-record 400 free and 800 free relay squads.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2003-04: A six-time All-American in her first season with the Tritons... ranks in the top-five in several events in the UCSD all-time record book... 400 IM time of 4:28.50 ranks second all-time, 200 IM time of 2:07.04 (fifth), and 200 back time of 2:06.50 (third)... named the 2003-04 Most Improved Swimmer at UCSD.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended La Jolla HS where she was a three-time CIF champion and two-time school record holder... named team MVP from 2001-2003... the Academic All-American also led the swimming team to a League Championship in 2000... earned the Coaches’ Award for her club team.

PERSONAL: Born on May 4, 1985 in San Diego, Calif.... daughter of Volney and Eugenia Bell... parents graduated from UC Berkeley... has two siblings, Allyson and Jennifer... undeclared major in Revelle College.
