AS A JUNIOR IN 2009: Appeared in 22 sets with 37 kills on .310 hitting... top match came against Michigan Tech with 16 kills on .429 hitting... she also had a season-high 10 digs against MT and was perfect in 13 reception attempts... also tallied nine kills on .615 hitting in a four-set win over Mesa State on September 5.
AT ST. JOHN'S UNIVERSITY: Attended St. John's University for two seasons... had best match vs. Colgate with nine kills, no errors and a .529 hitting clip... also added three service aces... St. John's was the 2006 Big East regular season champions, advanced to the NCAA second round and sweet sixteen during her two seasons... St. John's went 31-5 and 33-4, the two best years in school history.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Patrick Henry HS where the volleyball team won the Eastern League championship in 2003... honors included team captain as a senior, MVP for the 2005 season, Eastern League First-Team, CIF second-team and Union Tribune Scholar Athlete in 2004-05... club teams included San Diego Volleyball Club, Epic Volleyball Club, Club Pacific and Starlings.
PERSONAL: Oct. 6, 1988... parents are Kenneth and Diane... parents are graduates of San Diego State... father played baseball at SDSU and mother ran track and cross country at SDSU... a Psychology major in Warren College... hobbies include traveling, going to the beach, hiking and running.
