LA JOLLA, Calif. – The UC San Diego men's basketball 2026-27 Big West conference schedule was announced Wednesday by the conference office. With the expansion of The Big West to 12 teams, each conference member will play the other 11 teams twice over 22 dates. The 22-game round-robin schedule will see each team play a home-and-home series between Dec. 3 and March 6.
 
The Tritons will begin their final season as a member of The Big West on Dec. 3 when they host newcomer California Baptist at LionTree Arena. Opening weekend concludes with a visit to rival UC Irvine on Dec. 5.
  
Big West play resumes on New Year's Eve at Cal State Fullerton and Jan. 2 at Long Beach State. Home contests in January include Utah Valley (Jan. 7), Sacramento State (Jan. 9), Long Beach State (Jan. 21), and Cal State Fullerton (Jan. 23).
 
February opens in LionTree Arena with games against CSUN (Feb. 4) and Cal State Bakersfield (Feb. 6). The Tritons will wrap up the month with four consecutive games in La Jolla: UC Riverside (Feb. 18), UC Irvine (Feb. 20), Cal Poly (Feb. 25) and UC Santa Barbara (Feb. 27). The showdown with the Gauchos will include the annual Senior Night celebration.

Following the regular season finale on March 6 at CSUN, The Big West Basketball Championships will be held March 10-13 at Lee's Family Forum in Henderson, Nev.
 
Last year, the Tritons won 23 games – the second-most in the program's Division I era – under first year head coach Clint Allard '08. This year's squad includes 10 returners from that team, along with six newcomers.
