Episode 129: Trading Racquets for Pickleball Paddles

LA JOLLA, Calif. – Episode 129 of Tritoncast, the official podcast for UC San Diego Athletics, has dropped and is available to download or stream on every major podcast platform.

On this week's show, it's another look at Tritons in the Pros. We've brought you conversations with pro baseball players, pro basketball players, and pro water polo players. But this week, it's a new level for Tritoncast as we catch up with the first two former UC San Diego tennis players to hit the pro Pickleball tour. Naomi Nguyen and Daniel Traxler will tell us what it's like earning a paycheck in the fastest-growing sport in the country, the mental and physical differences between tennis and Pickleball, which skills translate from one court to the other, favorite memories as a Triton, and more.

New episodes of Tritoncast premiere on Wednesdays and are available on the most popular podcasting apps, including Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, Audible, iHeartRadio, Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn, and Vurbl. In addition, each episode can be heard and downloaded on UCSDTritons.com.
