PHOENIX—UC San Diego women's basketball senior guard
Sabrina Ma has earned an invitation to the Women's Premier Basketball Association (WPBA) 2026 Combine this weekend in Phoenix, Ariz.

The event will take place April 3-4 during the NCAA Women's Final Four weekend, bringing together elite athletes, WNBA personnel, international agents, brand partners and basketball leaders for a two-day professional evaluation experience. Serving as an official entry point into the WPBA, the Combine provides a high-level platform for talent identification, professional development, and league access.

Ma was a standout for the Tritons in her two seasons in La Jolla, helping UC San Diego to back-to-back Big West Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances. The San Francisco native was a two-time All-Big West Honorable Mention and 2024-25 Big West Newcomer of the Year after transferring from San Jose State.

In two seasons, Ma started all 69 games for the Tritons, setting the program's Division I single season record with 75 made threes in 2024-25 and finishing with 72 in 2025-26. She recorded her 1,000th career point in November and finished her career with 1,323 points, 478 rebounds, 180 steals and 175 assists. Ma collected 270 made three-pointers with a 34.7 three-point percentage and .818 free throw percentage.Â

During her senior season, Ma averaged 11.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.5 steals in 33.5 minutes per game. She finished first on the team in three pointers (2.2 per game), second in blocks (16), third in total points (376), rebounds (119) and steals (51).
