QUOTABLE
"I thought we were outmatched by their aggressive play in doubles; they were looking to finish points on their own terms," said UC San Diego head coach
Sebastian Bader. "We had a chance to turn it around [in singles] like we have many times this season, but we lacked fully engaged, competitive play from all six lines today. We have to learn from this one and be sure we're fully prepared to go for two conference matches this week."
