UC San Diego continues its stretch away from home when the Tritons visit Nevada on Tuesday, Dec. 2 for a 7 p.m. tip. Links to live video and live stats can be found on UCSDTritons.com.

LAST TIME OUT: TRITONS 75, IDAHO STATE 67 Stats
UC San Diego rallied from a 13-point first half deficit to remain unbeaten with a 75-67 victory over Idaho at LionTree Arena. Leo Beath and Tom Beattie each scored 15 to pace the Tritons, who matched their best-ever start in Division I with a 4-0 record. Junior Aidan Burke added 13 in the win. After dropping a 2023 meeting in overtime in Seattle, UC San Diego has now beaten the Vandals in each of the last two seasons.

THE BIG WEST HONORS BEATH
UC San Diego junior Leo Beath has been named The Big West Men's Basketball Player of the Week (Nov. 17). The honor is the first for Beath and the first for a Triton over the young season's two weeks. Beath averaged 18.5 points and 6.5 rebounds leading the Tritons to a pair of wins last week. He shot 58.3% (14-24) and knocked down six of 13 three-point tries. His five three-pointers in a win at Fresno State (Nov. 12) set a career high. His 17 points per game average is sixth in the conference.

CAREER-BEST EFFORTS
First year Triton Leo Beath drained a career high five three-pointers in a win at Fresno State (Nov. 12).

First year Triton Tom Beattie scored a career high 18 points in a Homecoming win over HCU (Nov. 3). Beattie was 7-for-12 from the floor, knocking down a pair of three-pointers in the win.

GOING STREAKING
Dating back to January, UC San Diego has won 15 consecutive regular season games. Including the postseason, the Tritons are 22-3 in 2025.

LONG ROAD AHEAD
UC San Diego is in the midst of a 34-day stretch between home games – the longest such stretch for the Tritons in their Division I or II era (2000-present). This year's squad will travel 6,042 miles between their Nov. 15 home game vs. Idaho and Dec. 19 home game vs. USD. The last time UC San Diego was away from La Jolla for more than 30 days was a 31-day stint in 2007-08.

BATTLING THE UNKNOWN
UC San Diego has only played one game all-time against any of the opponents in this year's Terry's Chocolate ESPN Events Invitational. The Tritons lost to Liberty, 92-90, in 1977 when UC San Diego competed in the NAIA and Liberty was known as Liberty Baptist College.

TRAVELING EAST
Dating back to 2022, the Tritons have won their last five regular season games played in the Eastern Time Zone. UC San Diego beat La Salle, James Madison and Toledo to win the Boardwalk Battle last year in Daytona Beach. The Tritons also downed George Washington and Eastern Michigan in 2022.

TRIPLE DIGITS
UC San Diego scored 105 points in its season-opening win over La Verne (Nov. 3). The Tritons reached the century mark three times last season.

NO PLACE LIKE HOME
UC San Diego has turned LionTree Arena into a true home court advantage, boasting a 30-4 record in La Jolla over the past two-plus seasons.

GOT THE FIRST ONE
When the Tritons beat La Verne in the season opener (Nov. 3), that marked the first victory in the head coaching career of Clint Allard '08.

2024-25 REWIND
UC San Diego is coming off an historic season in which the Tritons won 30 games, a Big West regular season and tournament title, and took 14th-ranked Michigan to the wire in the NCAA Tournament – all in the program's first season with Division I postseason eligibility. In fact, UC San Diego became the first program in NCAA history to send its men's and women's teams to March Madness in its first season eligible to do so.

NEW-LOOK TRITONS
Head coach Clint Allard has added ten newcomers who have join the Tritons' roster for the 2025-26 season: eight transfers and two first-year scholar-athletes. Leo Beath (Lynn), Tom Beattie (Hawai'i), Alex Chaikin (Lafayette), Bol Dengdit (Portland), Tyson Dunn (Buffalo), Trap Johnson (Montana State), Emanuel Prospere II (Missouri-St. Louis), and Dimitrije Vukicevic (Washington State) transferred to UC San Diego. Hudson Mayes (Redondo Beach, Calif.) and Jaden Vance (Phoenix, Ariz.) joined the roster as freshmen.

CHALLENGING SLATE AWAITS
The Tritons will face a challenging slate away from home in 2025, taking part in the Terry's Chocolate ESPN Events Invitational just prior to Thanksgiving at Walt Disney World (Nov. 24-26). UC San Diego will also compete in the Jack Jones Classic in Henderson, Nev., squaring off with Tulane on Dec. 13. UC San Diego's non-conference road games include matchups with Fresno State (Nov. 12) and Nevada (Dec. 2) from the Mountain West, and LMU from the West Coast Conference (Dec. 16).

TRITONS IN THE PROS
Three Tritons from last year's Big West Championship team are playing professionally this year. Tyler McGhie is playing for Gipuzkoa Basket in Spain, Aniwaniwa Tait-Jones is competing with Valmiera Glass in Latvia, and Hayden Gray is playing in the NBA G League for the Maine Celtics (Boston).
