Talisa Lin scored on a corner kick in the 78th minute as the Tritons earned a 1-0 win at UC Davis Thursday night on Aggie Soccer Field. UC San Diego outshot UC Davis, 13-5, for the match. HOW IT HAPPENED
Though neither team scored in the first half, UC San Diego had numerous chances. Senior captain
Lindsey Park took a shot in the fifth minute that was saved by UC Davis keeper Cat Pieper. The Tritons held a 4-2 first half advantage in shots and the Tritons earned four corner kicks while surrendering just one.

Talisa Lin headed the ball into the upper-right corner of the net – her first goal of the season – to put the Tritons on top.
