UC San Diego Hosts Cal Poly on Thursday

Tritons have won 11 straight

LA JOLLA, Calif. – UC San Diego returns to LionTree Arena for a pair of Big West home games this week. On Thursday, the Tritons will host Cal Poly at 7 p.m. UC San Diego (13-2, 3-0 Big West) has won eleven straight – the second-longest active win streak in Division I – after a 39-point win Saturday at Cal State Fullerton. That victory was the Tritons' largest ever over a conference foe and the largest road win in the program's Division I era. UC San Diego is No. 46 in Tuesday's NCAA NET ranking – the highest in program history.

The Mustangs (6-10 overall, 0-4 Big West) are in search of their first conference win after falling at Hawai'i on Saturday night. Cal Poly leads The Big West in scoring at 82.4 points per game, and the Mustangs have scored 90 points or better five times so far this season.

UC San Diego leads the series, 3-2, since moving to Division I in 2020. After Cal Poly won the first two meetings, the Tritons have captured the last three.

Thursday's game tips at 7 and tickets can be purchased through the Triton Box Office. The first 500 students in attendance will receive a free bucket hat. The game features live broadcasts on ESPN+ and KSDT radio with live stats available on UCSDTritons.com.
