LA JOLLA, Calif. – UC San Diego cross country teams were both selected by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as one of the teams named to the USTFCCCA Fall Scholar All-Academic lists for their outstanding academic standing in the Fall 2024 semester.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
The Triton women represented on the list with a team average of 3.49 GPA and the Triton men made the list sporting a 3.40 team average.
Emma Dunmire and Jenna Satvosky both posted a perfect 4.00 GPA for the fall semester. Dumire is currently working on her bachelor's in computer engineering and Satvosky is a general biology major; both runners are in their junior year at UC San Diego.
This is the fourth fall in a row that both Triton squads have earned fall academic honors from the national organization. Since the reclassification to NCAA Division I in 2020, UC San Diego cross country has been earned academic honors in all four seasons.
