SAN MARCOS, Calif. – UC San Diego cross country represented the gold and blue at the Cal State San Marcos Cougar Challenge.
ON THE WOMEN'S SIDE
Freshman
Annie Burton led the Triton women to a ninth-place team finish. In the field of 157, Burton finished eighth overall with a time of 21:45.3.
Allyson Abandonato added her support, finishing 10th with a time of 21:57.7.
ON THE MEN'S SIDE
On the men's side, freshman
Taiyo Ariga posted the highest finish for the Triton men with a time of 26:44.0.
Sully Nordheim was right behind his teammate with a time of 26:46.0.
